Unattainable
The work explores the transmission of an image through glass using total internal reflection, questioning how and under what conditions we perceive.
Light reflects along polished surfaces in an attempt to transfer an image from one side to the other, yet the process remains incomplete. Air bubbles and imperfections scatter the light, causing the image to dissolve and revealing perception as fragile and conditioned, dependent on material, light, and circumstance.
