About

Hana Renko

Hana Renko (b. 2003) is a Slovenian artist and designer based in Ljubljana. She is currently studying Applied Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, University of Ljubljana, where she specializes in glass and ceramics.

Working across sculptural objects, functional pieces, and spatial installations, her practice explores the relationship between material, light, and human presence. Drawing on the distinct qualities of glass and clay, she is interested in processes of transformation and in the ways materials retain traces of time, their making, and their surroundings.

Inspired by natural processes, landscapes, and human interventions, her work considers how surface, translucency, form, and light can evoke memory and alter our perception of objects and space.
